Message	it is amazing how different it is not being able to use just one finger. Specially since it is your right index finger. In my case, about 6 years ago I broke my pinky on my left hand which required a surgery and pins to repair the broken bone. The bone never healed correctly and ever since than I have not been able to bend that finger at the second joint, basically not able to make a full fist. Definitely not as drastic and serious as your injury. Good luck with your recovery.
